Two words sound holy — but hide everything.
“You have gone too far.”
That’s what Korah said to Moses. Sounded like accountability. Sounded like theology. Sounded like equality.
But underneath the borrowed vocabulary was one ancient sin — covetousness. Korah didn’t have no seat. He was a Levite. A cousin of Moses. An insider. He just wanted someone else’s seat.
Covetousness never speaks in its own voice. It borrows vocabulary. It borrows influence. It borrows the crowd. It wraps ambition in righteous concern — and that’s what makes it lethal in the church and in leadership.
Lucifer reached for a throne that wasn’t his. Jesus let go of one that was. 🔥
