The next Riverbend Mobile Food Distribution is planned for Thursday, July 30th, at the Bureau County Fairgrounds, funded by First Lutheran Church's Old Wheels Car Show.

Doors open between 8:30 and 9:00 am with the food distribution starting as soon as we are set up. Participants are encouraged to bring containers for the food, such as boxes or laundry baskets. www.flcprinceton.org/comingevents

Gerald (Jerry) Carver, of Princeton, Illinois, died June 30, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Carver.

His funeral will be at First Lutheran Church on Friday, July 3rd, at 12:00 pm, with visitation at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service, Pastor William Shields, officiating.

The Old Wheels Car Show returns to First Lutheran Church, 116 N Pleasant St, Saturday, June 20th, 10 am - 2 pm.

Come for the old cars, tractors, and motorcycles, but come early for the LCW Bake Sale, and stay for the grilled brats and hot dogs with all the fixings. The fun continues with a bounce house, kids train, Hot Wheels track, and duck races. Save time to visit with our mascots.
