What does it mean to truly rest in Christ? This week in Matthew 12, we explored what it looks like to behold Jesus as the promised Servant of the Lord -- the one who came not to condemn the bruised and broken, but to heal them.

The Father's own words over his Son ring out: "Behold my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased." And here is the breathtaking truth -- because we are united to Christ, that same love is poured out over us. A bruised reed he will not break. A smoldering wick he will not extinguish.

If your faith feels faint, if life has left you wounded, if you are not sure where you stand with God -- this message is for you. Come behold him. Find your rest in him. As Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, come to him weary and heavy laden, and he will give you rest.

Here's a little reminder that our Youth Group Escape Room Night is THIS Thursday, April 9, from 6 - 7:30 PM!
We hope your kids can come! They will have to work together, solve puzzles, and see if they have what it takes to escape in time! 🧩⏳
