On Sunday Pastor Kelli continued our HELLO NEIGHBOR series with a message entitled “Handling Conflict God’s Way”
👉1. FACE IT
a ) Take responsibility for your part FIRST
(Romans 12:18, Matthew 7:3-5)
👉b) Ask for God’s perspective
👉c) Discern the right timing to address it
(Ecclesiastes 3:7, James 1:19-20)
👉 2. INITIATE DON’T IGNORE
(Matthew 18:15-17, Matthew 5:23-24)
👉3. ACCEPT THE OUTCOME AND MOVE FORWARD IN PEACE
(Acts 15:36-41)
Working through conflict with a neighbor (coworker, friend, family member, etc) can be difficult and doing it God’s way doesn’t automatically mean we’ll get the outcome we desire.
WHEN WE HONOR ONE ANOTHER AS IMAGE BEARERS EVEN CONFLICT CAN BE HANDLED CORRECTLY. THE OUTCOME ISN’T OUR RESPONSIBILITY BUT THE PROCESS IS.
