We hope to see wholeness - no more hungry, lonely, hopeless, or homeless in Pittsburgh - and for every person to understand their belovedness. SOME MORE ABOUT US

C was planted in 2004. We have always been located in the South Side of Pittsburgh. We are connected to both the Presbyterian Church USA and the United Methodist Church. We believe we are an imperfect people coming together to find ways to reflect God's perfect love to the world around us. We believe we find that perfect love expressed fully in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus' greatest command was to love God and love others. We rely on the Holy Spirit to guide, lead, and encourage us in this work of love. We are on an intentional journey toward God through Jesus Christ where we shoulder the burdens, share the risks, and celebrate the joys, of participating in the mission of this community. All are welcome to join God's mission of love as it is expressed here at Hot Metal. We are an affirming congregation and welcome LGBTQ+ folks into all aspects of our church life together.

All month long, we will be collecting items for Pressley Ridge, which supports thousands of children each year through safe and nurturing foster homes.
