Yesterday, several folks at Mosaic received a fraudulent email from scammers posing as Pastor Josh.

This is from the real Pastor Josh and his response:

Friends,

I have been notified that a false account has been created in my name and they are asking for gift cards. The email account they used is [email protected]. (THIS IS NOT ME).

I will never ask you for money, gift cards, or any other information that would compromise your identity. If it feels off, please always double check.

I am not sure how they are getting email addresses and I am trying to file fraud for the account.

If you get this email and you are able to report the scam or fraud I would be grateful.

Mosaic Family,

Due to the weather we will not be having worship tomorrow Morning, December 14th. This also means that our Congregational meeting is also canceled. We will plan to have our Congregational meeting the following Sunday worship on December 21st.

Please take some time tomorrow morning to rest, wonder at the peace of snowfall, and stay warm.

We are currently under a winter weather advisory and we have some updates for our Annual Mosaic Christmas Party, please see below:

1. If you are in any way concerned about driving or being outside in this weather - Please stay home. We want everyone to stay safe!

2. We have moved our Party to 4:00pm - 6:30pm with the food beginning to be served at 4:30pm. Again this is a new time. Please spread the word.

3. We will have "to go" containers for you, if you simply want to come and get some food and take it home because you do not feel safe staying.

We are still planning on having a party atmosphere and time together. We trust that we will be able to navigate this wintery mix together and also take care of one another with the weather changes. Please do not hesitate to call or text.
