In this first Sunday after Pentecost (May 31, Trinity Sunday) we begin a new series, "Say It Out Loud." Christians in every walk of life are encouraged to "say it out loud." The truths of God’s Word are good for the soul, useful for life, and more reliable than anything else in the world. Don't keep it to yourself—say it out loud!

Heavenly Father, on this Memorial Day, we remember with deep gratitude the brave men and women who gave their lives so that we might have the freedoms we enjoy. Their sacrifice reflects the love of Christ, who laid down his life so that we might be eternally free. Help us use our freedom wisely, to serve others, seek justice, and reflect your light in a world longing for peace. Comfort the families who have lost loved ones in service, and remind them that their sacrifice was not in vain. May we live each day with thankfulness and courage, honoring both their memory and your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

This Sunday, during and after our 9:30am service, we will celebrate our high school and college graduates.

Heavenly Father, we thank you for our graduates and for the gifts you have given them. Keep them strong and courageous, leaning always on your wisdom as they make big decisions. May they always trust your plan, knowing that you are guiding their steps wherever they go. In Jesus' name, Amen.

HE LIVES TO RULE ALL THINGS FOR THE CHURCH

Jesus lives, and it makes a difference. Jesus is head over everything for the Church. At the time of Ascension, he takes his proper place. The Festival of the Ascension is one of the oldest and most joyful celebrations in the Christian Church! We celebrate the Ascension of our Lord this Sunday. Our service is at 9:30am.

What does it mean to LIVE FOR JESUS?

I am continually tempted to live only for myself. I have to be in good shape before I can be of help to anyone else, right? I think I know what’s right for me, and I can identify when other people are standing in the way of my own self-improvement.

Jesus lives and HE takes care of my basic needs. HE promises to do more for me than I can even imagine. HE puts people into my life so I can help them.

Now I live for him. Hear more about living for Jesus this Sunday at 9:30am at Lamb of God as our Easter season continues.
