May 31, 2026 - Matthew 28:16-20

On a mountain in Galilee, Jesus set the mission for his Church: Go and make disciples. They were to do that in two ways - baptizing and teaching. They go hand-in-hand. You can't have one without the other. The mission is both. And that's true as an institutional Church and as individual members of the Church. Each of us called to take the Gospel and share it, and we're do it with thouse already in the Church and those who aren't yet.

May 24, 2026 - 1 Corinthans 12:3-11

On the first Pentecost after Jesus' resurreciton, 3000 people became part of God's Church. We'd love it if the same thing happened here! But how does the Church grow? Paul gives the answer in 1 Corinthians 12 - and it's not because of you me. The building of the Church is the Spirit's work, and his alone.

May 3, 2026 - John 14:1-7

Grief is one of the most challenging things we go through in life. The pain of loss lingers and sometimes it's all we can focus on. But Jesus promises us hope in the face of our grief. We can grieve fearlessessly, knowing that our Savior is with and has prepared a place for us and for our loved ones who die in the Lord.

April 26, 2026 - Acts 4:42-47

Loneliness is an empidemic in America. Despite everything we have at our disposal, we are more isolated than ever before. When we're lonely we detach - not just from each other but from God. Yet our Good Shepherd calls us back with the Gospel and assures we aren't alone. He is with us, and the rest of flock is with us too.

April 12, 2026 - 1 Peter 1:3-9

Suffering is a part of life. We hear about it in the news, we witness it around town, and we experience it in our lives. Suffering is also scary. It's painful, unpleasant, and can seem endless. Easter, however, means that we can be FearLess in suffering, because we have a Savior who suffered for us and now promises us an inheritance in heaven that cannot be touched by even the worst sufferings of this life.

April 5, 2026 - Matthew 28:1-10

There was lots to be afraid of on the first Easter morning as a group of women bravely traveled to Jesus' tomb. But when they arrived an angel put their fears to rest: Don't be afraid - Jesus lives! Those same words are spoken to us, no matter what it is we're afraid of. When we look at the empty tomb, those words ring out: Don't be afraid - Jesus lives!

March 29, 2026 - Psalm 24

On Palm Sunday, the humliity of Jesus is on full display as he enters Jerusalem on a donkey. But never forget - this is a King who comes too. And that makes us his subjects. Humility on our part means recognizing our role, and then living our lives accoridngly. Thankfully, our humble King rescues us from our lack of humility and enables us to stand before God.

Sorry about the sound quality! Pastor's mic was not cooporating this morning.

March 22, 2026 - Psalm 130

We all know the basics are important. But the basics are boring and we think that since we know them already, why revisit them? Lent is a chance to go back to the basics of our faith and focus on the key truths that matter the most - because the beautiful basics of who we are and who God is are the heart and soul of our faith.

March 15, 2026 - Psalm 27

Having the right perspective on ourselves and our lives is important. So how do we see these things? Do we see them clearly the way God does, or do we look at things with blinders on, turning a blind eye to our sins? To truly have a proper pespective, we need to see God clearly first - and what we see when we see him clearly is a God of grace and mercy.

March 1, 2026 - Psalm 121

Sometimes we will compartmentalize our spiritual life and our day-to-day. God really cares about our spiritual lives, but leaves us on our in our day-to-day activities. But Psalm 121 shows us a different picture. God is our help in all circumstances, spiritual and physical, and he's the one we can turn to no matter what.
