Life leaves marks on us through betrayal, disappointment, and failure, but God has the power to transform our painful past into something beautiful. Through the story of Joseph and his brothers in Genesis 42, we see how past hurts shape us but don't have to define our future. Reuben carried decades of guilt for failing to fully save Joseph, yet God redeemed even his half-measures into bold, sacrificial love.
