St. Stephen's Episcopal Church

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church We are a historic parish with a contemporary mission: redefining congregation. You will be welcomed and nourished.

Completed in 1823 to designs by William Strickland, Saint Stephen’s is an extraordinarily beautiful place and a unique example of early 19th-century American Neo-Gothic churches. Its beauty, drawing on its sculpture, windows, and altar screen, is also its power to comfort and embrace and create an outward-looking sacred place of worship, prayer, and care of the soul. Saint Stephen’s is a place slowly and quietly coming back to life as a house of God that is profoundly human and invites all pilgrims to come inside.
