The DEKA Strong Challenge was the ultimate test of grit, determination, and endurance, and our athletes rose to the occasion.

Kroc members, staff, and guests of all ages pushed past their limits and took on one of the toughest fitness challenges around. With every station conquered and every obstacle overcome, participants proved that true strength is built through perseverance. Many even shattered their personal records along the way.

This wasn't just a competition. It was a reminder of what’s possible when you refuse to quit. We can't wait for the next DEKA event and the opportunity for even more athletes to challenge their limits and discover just how strong they really are.

The Becoming American: Philadelphia's Story Film Screening was a truly exceptional event. This documentary by Executive Producer Oliver St. Clair Franklin was a visual display of the founding of the United States through the lens of Philadelphia, sharing the stories of enslaved Africans and indigenous people, lawmakers, and artisans. The film masterfully reveals how diverse communities contributed to shaping a new nation. Following the screening, Oliver engaged with attendees in a Q&A session, sharing his insights on the film's creation. The documentary is available for free viewing on WHYY-PBS's YouTube channel.
