Good morning God our Father. Thank YOU Lord for waking me today. Every day YOU wake me is a gift.

"do as I have done for you."

Jesus had just shocked his disciples by performing the role of a lowly servant, getting down on his knees to wash their dusty feet. In that culture, this was a job reserved for the lowest-ranking servants.

Jesus was demonstrating that true greatness in HIS kingdom is not found in seeking power or status, but in lovingly and humbly serving others. HE commands HIS followers to treat one another with the exact same sacrificial care.

Lord YOU are the potter we are the clay! Continue to mold us to become more like Jesus, putting aside pride to meet the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the people around us.

Good morning God our Father. Thank YOU Lord for waking me today. Every day YOU wake me is a gift.

Lord, YOUR word today emphasizes doing the work YOU have called us to do, in perfect alignment with YOUR will.

We pray that as we follow YOUR path today, we will have YOUR spiritual "light" to guide our steps so that we will not stumble. Help us remember that when we choose to walk without YOUR guidance, we will inevitably fail.

Lord it is with the Strength YOU give us that we can do "ALL" things. May we remember YOUR words, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

Father, lead our steps today. Let us shine YOUR light on everything we do and have us depend completely on our faithful shepherd to lead the way!

Lord, thank YOU for the secure gift of eternal life. Eternal life is a free gift of grace, not a reward for good works.

Because it is a gift from God, it cannot be lost or revoked due to human failure.

Thank YOU Lord for providing absolute assurance that our souls are secure and the comforting promise that absolutely nothing can sn**ch us out of YOUR mighty hand.

Please help us to walk through today with unwavering confidence and peace, trusting in YOUR protection.

Good morning God our Father. Thank YOU Lord for waking me today. Every day YOU wake me is a gift!

"HE has not left me alone"

Jesus states that God never deserts HIM, a truth that was especially comforting as HE faced intense rejection from the religious leaders of the time.

Jesus' perfect fellowship with the Father is directly tied to HIS obedience. Because Jesus' will was perfectly aligned with God's will, God's presence was constantly with HIM. Therefore, this verse serves as both an example of true worship and a promise of God's presence.

It reminds us that living a life seeking to please God naturally allows us to experience HIS abiding companionship.

Lord, give us the absolute certainty that God is always with us and that we are never alone. May we take comfort in YOUR constant presence.

Align our hearts and our wills with YOURS today, Father. Teach us to live in a way that pleases YOU, so that we may walk closely in the warmth of YOUR companionship. Thank YOU for YOUR unwavering faithfulness.
