🕊️ ANNOUNCEMENT OF PASSING 🕊️
With deep sorrow and reverence, the New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ family announces the passing of our beloved Church Mother, Mother Lillie Ford, who transitioned from labor to reward on August 11, 2026, at the age of 84.
Mother Ford was a cherished and faithful servant of God whose life was marked by love, prayer, wisdom, faithfulness, and devotion to the Church and God’s people. Her presence, service, and legacy have made an indelible impact upon the New Jerusalem Church Of God In Christ family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
On behalf of our Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. John H. Reese, III, and the entire New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ family, we extend our heartfelt prayers and sincere condolences to Superintendent George W. Ford, the Ford Family, and our entire church family during this season of bereavement.
As we mourn her absence, we also give God thanks for a life well lived and a legacy that will continue to speak for generations to come.

May the God of all comfort grant strength, peace, and assurance to the Ford Family and all who are grieving. We stand together in prayer, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
