The Episcopal Mission Center The Episcopal Mission Center provides groups with the opportunity to engage in mission and ministry through urban organizations across Philadelphia region.

The Episcopal Mission Center (EMC) is located in the Historic Germantown Section of Philadelphia. The EMC is an urban retreat center providing groups with the opportunity to explore and engage in a wide range of service and activities throughout Philadelphia. Throughout your stay, in Philadelphia, you'll experience "urban life," learn the issues, and actively join others working toward solutions.

Our programs will be customized for your group and we can support your Confirmation retreat, Kairos, Happenings, etc.

It's our 330th birthday this Sunday! Join us as celebrate the 330th anniversary of Christ Church with doughnuts and fellowship. Afterwards we will have a presentation from Laurie Daniels of the Church Foundation. The Church Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the financial future of parishes and institutions within the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania. She visits churches all over the diocese to talk about aspects of financial stewardship.

This Sunday she will be talking to us about how we can strengthen our parish through planned giving. This is a perfect event to have on our 330th anniversary as we want to ensure that Christ Church is a vibrant community of faith for the next 330 years as well.
