Midwest Mission

Midwest Mission We send disaster relief, health, education, & micro business resources to those in need. Midwest Mission provides a "hands on" mission experience.

Midwest Mission provides opportunities for individuals and groups of all walks of life, denominational backgrounds, abilities, and ages to help provide disaster relief, education and medical supplies to those in need locally, nationally and internationally. For those receiving the supplies, we are bringing hope that someone somewhere loves them.

On September 1st, Midwest Mission sent another shipment of hope to Haiti through our partner, Food For The Poor.

International shipment #28 carried $93,358 worth of supplies — resources that will support education, healthcare, livelihoods, and everyday needs in communities across Haiti.

Inside the shipment were items with many different purposes, but each one has the potential to make a difference. Students will receive supplies to help them learn, educators will have desks and chairs for their classrooms, and individuals and families will receive practical resources to help meet their daily needs.

For many people, a bicycle is simply a way to get from one place to another. But for someone working to rebuild their life, it can mean so much more. Bicycles can provide reliable transportation to work, recovery meetings, and other opportunities that help create a brighter future.

That’s the heart of Midwest Mission’s partnership with the MBK (My Brother’s Keeper) Bike Ministry in Springfield, Illinois. Together, we help remove transportation barriers by providing bicycles to individuals who are working hard to move forward.

Two recent recipients, Bob* and Joe*, are reminders of how a simple gift can make a lasting difference.

*Bob and Joe are fictitious names used to protect the identity of the recipients.
