Day 2 of Breakaway Kids Camp ✅

All of our kiddos were up early and ready to start the day! Boys and girls competed separately in “Handball” and “Pizza vs Chefs”. During free time, some of our crew did the high ropes course and the rest of us enjoyed some time at the outdoor pool!

Even the rain and a few stray storms couldn’t stop our day, or our God from showing up for service! Tonight was Holy Spirit Night and our Big Idea was: The Holy Spirit helps me live like Jesus! We learned 3 main poinnts tonight from Acts 8:14-17-
1. The fruit of the Holy Spirit shows Jesus is changing me.
2. The gifts from the Holy Spirit show Jesus can work through me.
3. The baptism in the Holy Spirit helps me live as a bold witness.
We had some altar time where students came forward asking to be filled with the Holy Spirit! We even had some extra time to sit and listen to the Holy Spirit speak to us! So powerful!!

We have 1 more full days of fun and encountering Jesus! Would you be praying for us as we enter the last day and a half of camp? Thanks for joining us in believing for a mighty move of God for this last stretch of camp!

Day 1 of Breakaway Kids Camp ✅

We had a little rain this morning, but got ourselves down to camp, unpacked, and settled in. Huge thank you to a few parents who came to help us settle in! We had our opening rally, some free time at the lake, had our first service, did prayer stations, and had activity center time!

This years camp speaker is Pastor Jamie! We had a great service tonight learning our Big Idea: Let Go, Follow Jesus! We read from Mark 10 and learned that Jesus loves us, we need Jesus, and Jesus can save anyone! We learned that sometimes things that we hold onto keep us from following Jesus. We had time to pray and ask God to help us let go of things that kept us from following him. We also got to participate in powerful prayer stations!

And now, it is time for rest! Thank you all for your prayers for our kiddos and leaders! We can’t wait to see all God does this week! 💙
