Last Sunday, Grace & Glory Lutheran participated in the first new feast day added into the Revised Common Lectionary since 1983, Feast of Creation in Christ. It isn't meant to be a churchy Earth Day. It is rooted in Orthodox practices dating from at least the 7th century. This new festival is offered as an opportunity to ponder and worship our Triune God as the Creator and reflect upon our sacred call to be God's stewards inherited from Adam and Eve.
