Take off your shoes; you are standing on holy ground.

When Moses encountered the burning bush in Exodus 3:1–15, he was simply tending sheep on an ordinary day in the wilderness. Yet right in the middle of routine labor, God showed up with a holy calling, declaring, "I AM WHO I AM." God heard the cries of the people, remembered the covenant, and stepped into human history with boundless grace.

Sometimes our daily lives feel dry or routine, much like the desert landscape Moses walked. Still, God meets us right where we are, inviting us into sacred moments, listening to our prayers, and reminding us that we are never alone. Holy ground is not just a distant mountain long ago; it is anywhere and anytime God’s presence transforms our everyday lives.

No matter where your journey led this week, there is a place of welcome, prayer, and renewal waiting for you in our church family. In a world full of opinions, headlines, and noise, that question comes to each of us: Who do you say Jesus is?
Is He just a good teacher? Or is He your Savior, your firm foundation, the One who holds your life together when everything else feels shaky? Jesus asked His disciples, “Who do you say that I am?” and Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” (Matthew 16:13–20)

Jesus promises that on this rock, on this profession of faith, He will build His church. That means the church is not built on our perfection, our programs, or our personalities, but on Jesus Christ, the living Son of God who still calls, forgives, and transforms people today.

This week, take a quiet moment to answer His question in your own heart:
“Who do I say Jesus is?” Where do you need Him to be your Rock, your hope, your courage, your peace?

Come worship with us this Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. Come as you are and join us as we proclaim together that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God.

When fear tried to silence hope, God was already at work.

In Exodus 1:8–2:10, we see a people oppressed, a mother making an impossible choice, a sister watching faithfully, and two midwives who chose to fear God rather than Pharaoh. In the midst of danger and uncertainty, God preserved a child named Moses who would one day help lead His people toward freedom.

This story reminds us that God often works quietly in the places where we feel most powerless. A courageous “yes,” a faithful act of kindness, or a watchful prayer may become part of something much bigger than we can see.

Whatever you are carrying this week, remember: God has not forgotten you. He is present in the hard places, working through ordinary people with extraordinary faith.

Joseph’s tears in Genesis 45 reveal the heart of forgiveness. After years of hurt, separation, and uncertainty, Joseph finally tells his brothers, “I am Joseph.” Instead of choosing revenge, he chooses grace.

What others had intended for harm, God used to bring healing, provision, and the possibility of a restored family. Joseph’s story reminds us that God is still at work in the painful places of our lives. Through Christ, we can release bitterness and trust that God can bring hope and peace from what has been broken.
