Michelle and I are deeply grateful for our dear family and friends who have given and sacrificed so we can travel to see our children and grandchildren. We now have three new grandchildren we haven’t yet met, and our hearts are full of anticipation. Grandchild number 18 was born this morning at 3:16 am, a handsome boy. So very blessed.

We’re getting close to reaching our goal and will soon be setting our travel dates. Support continues to come in, and we’re so encouraged. We can’t wait to be reunited with our loved ones, and we’ll share details as plans come together.

Why read the Bible? To know Jesus. To spend time with Him.

It’s not religion. It’s relationship.

The best moments in the Bible are when it becomes personal—when His Word speaks into our heart, our mind, and our soul. It reaches us emotionally, sometimes even physically.

If we open our Bible and it isn’t this, then maybe we’re just reading out of religion. But when we come to meet Him, it’s different. It’s alive.

Jesus said, “The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life” (John 6:63).

That’s what we long for when we read: His life filling ours. Reading the Bible should take us closer to Jesus.

We have been side by side with the young people of Little Lambs building a horse corral and stable. It started with the sound of the chainsaw cutting posts and lumber from fallen trees. Then came the digging through rock hard ground, hammering, cutting, roofing, and stretching barbed wire under the sun.

They showed up eager to learn and determined to do well. They learned quickly that a project like this is not as easy as it looks. It takes patience, steady hands, and the grit to keep going when your muscles ache and hands blistered.

By the end of the week their hands told the story. Blisters they wore like badges of honor. Proof that they had given their best. I watched their eagerness grow into skill and their confidence rise with each board nailed and post set.

Out here in the dust and sweat they are discovering something that will stay with them far beyond this project. They can face hard things. They can finish strong. And they can take pride in work well done. Michelle and I are so grateful for the opportunity to sow into the lives of others. This is our why, to see the most vulnerable overcome with the love of Jesus. Aligning our lives with his will, his plan, his love and redemption. ❤️ Jesus loves us to transform us.

Michelle and I are so very grateful. Many family and friends have given funds to help us be able to visit our children and grandchildren. We still need to continue to pray and share our need and hope to raise all the funds to be able to travel to three states, Florida, Virginia and Wisconsin.

We have two grandchildren we haven’t met that recently celebrated their first birthdays and another on the way anytime soon.
