🌿🐒 What an awesome start to VBS 2026 at Divine Shepherd!

Our campus has been filled with excitement, laughter, and the Good News of Jesus as hundreds of children and youth gather this week for our Rainforest Vacation Bible School. It’s been a joy watching young hearts grow in faith, build friendships, and have a blast along the way.

Please keep our kids, families, and volunteers in your prayers as VBS continues this week!

It's Sunday Night! Don't miss Youth Group!

6th–12th graders are invited to Divine Shepherd tonight from 6–8 PM for games, music, friends, and time learning about Jesus in a welcoming Christian environment.

Tonight’s mystery game involves water and was created by our own youth, so bring a towel or swimwear if you want to be part of it.

Free to attend.
Friends welcome.
No need to be a member.

Don’t Miss Sunday Morning Bible Study with Cole!

We are so thankful to have Cole Sharar with us this summer as part of his internship from Concordia University, Seward!

Cole is preparing for future studies at seminary with the goal of becoming a pastor, and this summer he’s sharing his gifts right here at Divine Shepherd by leading our Sunday morning Bible study. He did an outstanding job this past Sunday helping us dive deeper into 1 John, dig deeper into God’s Word, and discover the saving work of Christ.

Later this summer, Cole will also be joining the Divine Shepherd mission team as they travel to China to help lead Vacation Bible School and share the love of Jesus with children and families. What an incredible journey the Lord is preparing for this young man!

We invite you to join us each Sunday from 9:15–9:50 AM in the Chapel. Stay after the 8:15 AM service or come early before the 10:00 AM service as we gather around God’s Word, grow in faith, and encourage one another in Christ.

We all carry the sickness called sin 😷. Left on our own, we cannot cure it. But Jesus came not for the healthy, but for the sick. Through His cross and resurrection, He brings forgiveness, healing, and new life to sinners.

This weekend, Pastor Brent reminded us that while Christians live in the world, our hope is found in Christ alone. Surrounded by countless messages and symbols, we cling to the one sign that changes everything: the cross. Once a symbol of death, it now proclaims life, salvation, and victory through Jesus.

📣 DS “ALL” Youth Volunteers Needed This Weekend

We still have approximately 36 volunteer slots that need to be filled this weekend.

All youth in grades 6–12 are asked to sign up for a shift. This event is being hosted by a community group that is making a significant donation to support the youth of Divine Shepherd. Their generosity will help make future youth activities, outings, fellowship events, and other opportunities possible throughout the coming year.

Slots Needed:
• Weekend concession shifts

• Sunday beginning at 5:00 to 6:30 PM (teardown) 10 Slots NEED LOTS OF HELP!
