Christian Business Women's Fellowship (CBWF)

Christian Business Women's Fellowship (CBWF) Our vision is for Fellowship with Christ an Each Other. The following principles are the heart of CBWF.

CBWF is a women's marketplace ministry in collaboration with CBMC (Christian Business Men's Connection) and CBMCI (Connecting Business and the Marketplace to Christ). They form the foundation and are the "compass" providing the direction for our ministry.

• Living the Word:
“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” –Psalms 119:105

• Developing Disciples:
“Therefore go and make d

isciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” –Matthew 28:19

• Persistent Prayer:
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.” –Ephesians 6:18

• Creating Relationships:
“…because we love you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God, but our lives as well.” 1Thessalonians 2:8

Week 5: In the military, there is a term: setting the conditions of the battlefield. It describes the work and preparation done long before the fight. The intentional shaping of the environment makes it ready so that success is possible.

Pray for the men and women serving in our military that they would be strengthened in body, mind and spirit. Ask God to prepare them, protect them, and surround them with leaders and relationships that point them to truth. Pray that in moments of pressure, they would stand firm in courage, conviction, and faith.

Each week leading up to July 4th, the “Under God” devotional will feature a different topic authored by a different Christian leader, highlighting scripture and practical ways we can pray and apply God’s word to that area of influence.

Jesus takes solitude seriously. He spent 40 days alone in the wilderness in prayerful submission to God’s redemption plan. In Matthew 14:23, he dismissed the crowd of 5,000 after feeding them— so he could retreat to a mountainside by himself. Over and over, Jesus is showing us that withdrawing to be with God is desirable and beneficial.

Find peace and reflection with this prayer to value solitude. Cultivate inner strength and discover the gifts of quiet moments. Read your daily prayer.

Psalm 126 reminds us that enjoyment is important. It describes a time when God restored his people after a painful season. When the restoration came, their response was laughter and joy. The people responded to God’s goodness by wholeheartedly celebrating! Read more in today’s devotional:
