God of grace and glory, on this anniversary of 9/11, grant us wisdom to remember in ways that make us more Christ-like. Drive away vengeance and hatred, and teach us to overcome evil with good.

As we remember that day and those whose lives were forever changed, may we be inspired by the courage and compassion of ordinary people—first responders, medical workers, pastors, neighbors, and strangers—to offer kindness, love, and care to others.

We pray for those who grieve, those who still carry unanswered questions, and all who serve and protect us. Grant them courage, wisdom, and rest.

Prince of Peace, in a world still marked by violence and war, help us cling to the goodness that emerged from tragedy and become people who bring your redemption, reconciliation, and hope.

May anniversaries of sorrow help us remember what truly matters, let go of what does not, and recognize your grace at work among us.

In the name of Jesus, our Prince of Peace and Good Shepherd, we pray. Amen.

The Death Toll
Our church will ring the death toll today, the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001 at the times of the four plane crashes as we remember those who died that day during this terrible attack.

As you leave FPC and step into a new season of school, work, or whatever comes next, remember: you are entering your mission field. 🌎❤️

Your mission field isn’t just across the world—it’s wherever God has placed you. Your classroom. Your workplace. Your team. Your dorm. Your neighborhood. Your everyday conversations.

Go with courage. Be kind. Look for ways to serve. Invite others in. And remember that you carry the love of Christ with you wherever you go.

We’re praying that God will use you in ways you may never expect and that you’ll be a light in every place He leads you.
