On Monday, August 31, our Teen Cross members gathered for their first meeting of the year!

We’re looking forward to year filled with faith, fellowship, friendship, service, and of course fun!

We would like to thank the Department of Catholic Education & Faith Formation and Aspiring Scholars for sponsoring dinner and keeping our teens fueled with delicious walking tacos!

We can’t wait to see these student grow in their faith and lead those behind them!

The theme is Made for More, and the day features dynamic speakers, young people from across the Archdiocese of New Orleans and neighboring dioceses, praise & worship, Mass with Archbishop Checchio, and more! We hope to have you in that number. Don’t miss out!

Today is the day! Archbishop Checchio will consecrate our Archdiocese of New Orleans to the Sacred Heart of Jesus at the 11 a.m. Mass at St. Louis Cathedral - Cathedral-Basilica of St. Louis King of France. Each parish will consecrate their parish in every Mass and then each family is invited to enthrone the Sacred Heart in their home. The 11 a.m. Mass will be live streamed via TheDailyMass.com and live broadcast on WLAE-TV.
