📖 Today's Lesson: The Greatest of All

What is the greatest commandment?

When Jesus was asked this question, His answer was simple and powerful:

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind."Matthew 22:37

Jesus went on to say that loving our neighbor as ourselves is like it. These two commandments are the foundation upon which everything else stands.

As we reflect on today's lesson, let's examine our hearts. Are we looking for the minimum God requires, or are we striving to love Him with our whole being?

🔦 VBS Spotlight: The Narrow Gate

This week in our Mystery Mine adventure, we’re discovering an important truth from Jesus’ teaching about the narrow gate.

Jesus taught that there are two paths in life. One is wide and easy, but it leads away from God. The other is narrow, and while it may not always be the easiest choice, it leads to life. Jesus wants us to follow Him and trust His way every day.

📖 Memory Verse (NASB):
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14

💡 Family Challenge:
Talk together this weekend about one way your family can choose God’s path, even when it’s not the most popular or easiest choice.

🍪 Wednesday Night Summer Sweets Have Begun! 🍪

Summer is here, and so is one of our favorite Wednesday night traditions!

Each week after our Wednesday evening Bible classes and devotional, we’ll gather for Summer Sweets, a time to enjoy a treat and spend a few extra moments visiting with one another.

The sweet changes every week, and this week’s featured treat is:

🍪 Cookies! 🍪

If you’d like to participate, bring enough cookies to share and plan to stay for a little fellowship after services.

We hope you’ll join us this Wednesday evening!

☀️ Summer is here, and so are our newly promoted Bible classes! ☀️

Yesterday we celebrated class promotions for our children through 6th grade, and we’re excited to welcome everyone into their new classes as we begin a new season of learning and growing together.

Whether you’re looking for a class for your preschooler, elementary student, teen, or yourself, we have Bible classes for every age and stage of life. From studies on the life of Jesus and Christian evidences to classes designed especially for children and youth, there’s a place for everyone!

We encourage everyone to join a Bible class each week and take advantage of these opportunities to study God’s Word, build friendships, and grow in faith together.
