The Big Backpack Giveaway is a community effort to provide students with a backpack full of school supplies for the start of the school year.

In the Franklin Special District, we need your help to make this possible on July 25! We are looking for church partners who would be interested in collecting school supplies such as pens or backpacks, or in providing a monetary donation.

Are you IN for ONESUNDAY???

This is ONE DAY when we will join together from all across the Greater Nashville area...at our churches from all across the city...to come together to pause and pray for one another as an expression of our unity in Christ!

We want your church to join us on June 28 for this special day! All you have to do to be a part of ONESUNDAY is read John 17:20-23 during your worship gathering that morning and then pray for the churches in our community!

To kick off the summer, United4Hope joined PENCIL for their annual PENCIL Summit, hosted at Deloitte. The theme this year was community partners investing their time, talent and treasure.

The opening session included a panel discussion centered on the importance of community partners engaging in schools and the monumental difference it makes in students' lives. Attendees then participated in various breakout sessions, one of which was led by United4Hope!

United4Hope was honored that PENCIL asked us to present on who we are and how we bring community partners into our schools through our church partners. Some topics covered included the importance of churches engaging with schools, best volunteer practices and training essentials,and direct impacts seen as an outcome of school-church partnerships.

It was a joy to share United4Hope’s mission with so many business and community leaders and highlight the incredible impact our church partners are making throughout their partner schools!

Summer is upon us, and United4Hope is excited to begin summer check-ins with our church coordinators!

These check-ins will provide an opportunity to connect, receive support and encouragement, share feedback and discuss ways we can continue strengthening our partnerships.

New Season Church partners with United4Hope and when it came time to select their partnering school, they chose the Ivanetta H. Davis Early Learning Center.

The Ivanetta Davis Center is a child and family centered preschool within MNPS. The preschool serves three and four year old students focusing on the development of necessary social-emotional and academic skills such as early literacy and early math.

New Season was more than willing to walk alongside the center in the planning of the year end celebration. Time was filled with fun, activities and delicious food. Rays Barbeque and One Spunky Spud were on site to provide a wonderful lunch.

It was a lovely day and as the school principal, Dr. Rhiannon Wilson has said in the past, the community plays a vital role in the journey of our students, and this celebration was no exception.

New Visions Baptist Church joined United4Hope this year and has jumped in feet first to their partnership with Two Rivers Middle School. Their church coordinator, Rev. Dr. Aaron Corley, is a Two Rivers Middle School alum and was excited to continue to engage the community that has meant so much to him.

Throughout the year, New Visions has provided meals for school staff, donated supplies for family events, and volunteered in various ways. Rev. Dr. Corley has been meeting regularly with a Two Rivers student for personalized mentoring, which has led to significant improvement in this student’s grades and behavior. Rev. Dr. Corley also served on a school-church partnership panel for a United4Hope Coordinator Meet-Up, sharing some of the ideas he and his church have put into practice.

Thank you New Visions for your dedication to Two Rivers Middle School and for being such a wonderful United4Hope partner!

Their sacrifice and the sacrifice of their family will never be forgotten.

It's the last day of school and summer is officially HERE!!!

It has been a great school year and we want to say a HUGE thank you to all of our volunteers, church coordinators, school liaisons, principals and pastors for all that you have done to make this a fantastic year.
