GBHEM is honored to be a part of the UMC's historic tradition of promoting and providing transformative learning opportunities, offering support, advocacy, and resources to assist with cultivating and empowering a new generation of thoughtful Christian leaders. GBHEM supports worldwide equity and inclusion in higher education through its ministerial leadership support, higher education advocacy, a

nd global education leadership and funding. In addition to providing access to theological education worldwide, we administer and award scholarships from over eighty programs, distributing millions of dollars in scholarships that support students from all over the world.
