Vocations office of the Religious Teachers Filippini, a community of Catholic Sisters, founded by Saint Lucy Filippini. We model our lives on the life of St.

Fostering vocations of young women to religious life. The Religious Teachers Filippini is a community of women who live a life of prayer and service to the Church and the world in the name of Jesus Christ. Lucy Filippini and promise to live lives of poverty, chastity and obedience. We serve as sisters in the ministry of education to women and children throughout the world. And so could you!

This past weekend, we provided a discernment retreat for a lovely group of young ladies at Villa Walsh. Their activities included prayer at Mass and adoration, witness talks by the Sisters of their different vocation stories, tours of the chapel and mansion, games, and of course, meals shared with the Villa Walsh Community.

Last Saturday, we met with the Bengali Youth Group of New Jersey at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Bayonne, NJ for a retreat. What lovely people, the young people and the volunteers!

This past weekend, Sr. Luciana visited and enjoyed the Bengali Community sharing her vocation story and promoting the Filippini Community.

Yesterday, Sr. Laura Bezila and I participated in the Paterson Diocesan Eucharistic celebration as part of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage. What a wonderful experience of joyful faith with the procession, rosary and Eucharistic Liturgy! Bishop Sweeney presided and Fr. Casey OFM preached at the Mass accompanied by the children's choir and joined with many priests, religious and congregants.

Last Saturday, I met with the NRVC Delaware region's vocation directors at the motherhouse of the Sisters of the Redeemer in the northwest Philadelphia area. The presentations were helpful and the Sisters were gracious - what a great experience!!!

On May 30th, we had a "Come and See' at our House of Prayer in Trenton. We pray for more vocations interested in our Community!

Sr. Lucy and Sr. Luciana spent the day at Seton Hall University with other vocation directors encouraging young people to consider the call to a religious vocation.

This weekend I participated in a vocation discernment retreat at Mother Boniface Spirituality Center in Philadelphia. It was a pleasure to be with the other vocation directors of NRVC as well as to meet and help the discerners.
