On Tuesday, we gathered in memory of Rabbi Moshe Herson OBM, the Head Shliach of NJ, on his first yartzeit (anniversary of passing).

We spent time together in study and sharing resources and ideas to bolster Chabad of New Jersey's mission to strengthen and support each in our efforts to nurture Jewish life across our great state.

The photo shows many but not all of our incredible 100+ Chabad rabbis in the state and was taken at the Chabad NJ HQ/Rabbinical College of America in Morristown

Gatherings like this one take place annually, with the Chabad rebbetzins' getaway having been this past November.

See your rabbi? Give 'em a shoutout in the comments!

Thank you, The Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey, for partnering with us to provide critical support to our students and faculty!

SPOTLIGHT ON NEW GRANTS – Continuing our mental health initiative, we are proud to provide a $150,000 second-year renewal grant (with an additional $25,000 available upon matching funds) to the Rabbinical College of America to expand its groundbreaking Office of Emotional Wellness.

In just one year, RCA's innovative program has transformed student mental health, providing individual therapy for 20 students, group sessions for 71 students, and monthly school-wide mental health education. Through a powerful partnership with Lakewood Community Services Corporation, students have access to culturally competent, multilingual clinicians and comprehensive clinical support.
The impact is clear: 85% of parents requested additional programming, teachers have received professional development, and students are receiving the mental health care they need during critical developmental years.

Year 2 will bring facility certification, plus a dedicated wellness space and enhanced family-centered care.

We're proud to partner with RCA in normalizing mental health support among the Jewish Orthodox community and ensuring every student has access to compassionate, culturally responsive care.

Exciting to see our Dean Rabbi Mendy Herson and several of our Alumni representing the Jewish community today at the White House, including Rabbis Mendel Lifschutz, Mendel Alperowitz and Ovadiah Goldman, as well as Chaplain Chaim Stern.

They make us proud!

Chabad at the White House

Earlier today, a delegation of Chabad representatives met with the President in the Oval Office, to discuss issues facing the Jewish community, including rising antisemitism and the health and safety of our sisters and brothers in the Holy Land. The delegation included Rabbi Mendy Herson, Director of Chabad of New Jersey, and Rabbi Eitan Webb, Director of Chabad at Princeton.

Chabad of New Jersey and its affiliates thank the President for his focused attention to issues facing our community.

Real change isn't easy... but it's worth it.

For many Jewish American students, advanced Torah learning can feel out of reach. It takes years of dedicated study and expert guidance to truly excel.

This week, we welcomed back our Tiferes Bachurim students for another transformative semester!

Our mission? Meeting students exactly where they are in their Jewish journey, whether they're just learning the Hebrew alphabet or diving deep into complex Talmudic and Chassidic texts.

What makes Tiferes Bachurim special? Our incredible rabbis who guide each curious mind with patience, respect, and genuine care. They're masters at helping students discover their unique place in Jewish learning.

This is why our program continues to grow and thrive. When you create an environment where every Jewish background is welcomed, amazing things happen.

Welcome back, Tiferes students! We can't wait to see how you'll grow this year.

Ever wonder how many days our campus sits completely empty each year? The answer might surprise you: absolutely ZERO!

That said, our main study hall is getting some quick TLC after hosting our biggest Yeshiva Summer Program group ever (what an incredible seven weeks that was!).

But this quiet moment won't last long...

Come Sunday, the Tomchei Temimim and Tiferes Bachurim programs kick off a new semester and we'll be back to our bustling, non-stop energy.

Here's to an amazing new year ahead!

CHABAD OF NJ WELCOMES OUR NEWEST CENTER!

The Jewish community of the West Side of Cherry Hill in Camden County will be getting its first Chabad center.

Rabbi Isser and Leah Brikman, together with their young son, Chezki, will be establishing a new center for Jewish life and learning in the south Jersey enclave. They hope to create meaningful programs for all ages and levels of knowledge and observance. This will be the 73rd Chabad center in the State of New Jersey.

The West Side of Cherry Hill is known for its family friendly community and is home to a sizable Jewish population.

The Brikmans will be joining the team of five Chabad families, directing the four Chabad centers in Camden and Burlington Counties, under the leadership of Rabbi Mendy and Dinie Mangel.
