We want to acknowledge and honor the historic step taken by Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in transferring land into Indigenous stewardship through the Indigenous Protector Movement.
This is an example of what reparative action can look like when faith, justice, and relationship come together in meaningful ways. We hold this moment in prayer and gratitude for all who helped bring it forward.

Today we honor every form of mothering love.
We celebrate mothers, grandmothers, aunties, sisters, mentors, caregivers, elders, and all who nurture others with compassion and strength. We also hold space for those carrying grief, longing, complicated memories, or quiet loneliness today.

May this day remind us that love is sacred, care matters, and the people who help hold us together deserve to be honored.

Wóphila to all who have loved, guided, protected, and cared for others in ways both seen and unseen.
Happy Mother’s Day from All Nations Indian Church.

We’re excited to welcome the Sole Care Bus to All Nations Indian Church tomorrow as part of our Free Community Wellness Open House Friday May 8th!

The Sole Care Bus is a mobile outreach unit operated by the Native American Community Clinic (NACC). They provide essential harm reduction and medical services throughout the Twin Cities community.
This is a chance to learn more about resources available in our neighborhood, connect with people doing important work, and explore support that is here for the community.

Today I am holding space for every Indigenous family still searching, still grieving, still waiting for answers that should have come long ago.

MMIR is not just a headline to me.
It is not just one day of awareness.

It is the weight carried by communities who have had to fight to make people pay attention.
It is the heartbreak of names that should still be spoken in the present tense.
It is the reality that too many relatives were treated as invisible.

Today I wear red in honor of every stolen relative and every family carrying unimaginable loss.

The prayer in this piece matters deeply to me because it is not only about grief. It is also about responsibility.

“God, move in us.
Move through us.
Make us people who notice, who speak, who act.”

That is my prayer today.

That we do not look away.
That we do not allow silence to win.
That we become people who protect one another fiercely and speak the truths this country has too often ignored.

No more stolen relatives.
