We are pleased to announce the first concert of the 2026-27 season of Chamber at the Chapel at ULC! Join us this Saturday evening of October 24th at 7:30pm for Charmante Nuit, a performance of 17th century music from the French court. Our own Sarah Jackson Walker and Thomas Walker will perform with Mary Virginia Burke a program of music by Lambert, Boësset, de Visée, and others for voice, theorbo, and viola da gamba. There is no charge to attend, but there is a suggested donation of $25 for those who are able. We hope to see you there!

We welcome our two new staff members to ULC! James Mons is our cantor and music/choir director. I've gotten some lovely candids of him working hard in his new office. He is an accomplished trumpeter and singer. We are all excited to see him develop our choir and train students!

Vicar Brad Larson will be with us for this vicar year and has settled into his new abode on the third floor nicely. He's already an active member of our congregation and leads several biblical and confessional studies throughout the week. We are very happy to have him!

Earlier in August, we went on our annual Pedal Pub trip around Minneapolis and it was a fantastic time! We stopped at a couple different bars, then ended the night with dinner at Red Rabbit in North Loop. A special thanks to our driver and to Jacob, our legendary bartender! If you didn't get to come this time, we will do it again next year!

Vicar Thomas decided to lead a summer book study every Wednesday and selected 'On The Incarnation' by Saint Athanasius. Our congregants were quite interested in this as well as the free dinner (made by Vicar and Rebecca) and s'mores by the bonfire afterwards! This was a great success throughout the summer months when it's a bit quieter on campus, and we hope to have a similar study next summer! Thank you to all who participated and contributed food, and for making this all possible!
