Sometimes God’s mercy looks like healing one faithful step at a time.
This past April, Anne suffered a broken back after a fall. She laid in the dark for nearly two hours before nurses found her and rushed her to the hospital. Her orthopedic doctor told her recovery would likely take 3–4 months, and the road ahead felt long.
As she recovered, Anne prayed, asking God for a second chance to get well again. Pastor Gary also came to visit and prayed with her, entrusting her healing to the Lord.
Then something remarkable happened.
After just three weeks—not three months—Anne was up and walking with a walker. And by this summer, she was fully mobile, back on her feet, and joyfully sharing her story of Mercy with us.
When asked what made the difference, Anne’s answer was simple:
“Good rehab and prayer.”
Her story reminds us that God often works through both the ordinary and the extraordinary. He meets us through caring medical professionals, faithful rehabilitation, the prayers of His people, and His sustaining presence every step of the way. This is a story of Mercy.
Where have you seen God’s faithfulness carry you through a difficult season?
