Thanks to your support, GHM has been working with the Lutheran Church of Uganda to help fight the spread of Ebola. You can read more information about the work being done in Uganda here:

As Uganda responds to the threat of Ebola, your support helps protect thousands of people through GHM’s partnership with the Lutheran Church of Uganda. This support is helping expand Ebola prevention outreach to more than 165 congregations, 42 schools, and 18 health centers.

It is finished! The container to Liberia has been packed and is ready to go! Thank you all for your help loading; we couldn't have done it without all of our wonderful volunteers.

Look at how far we made it loading the container today! It was a great day, but there is still more to do.

Come tomorrow to help us finish packing this container for Liberia. We will be starting at 9 and providing lunch for those who come!

We are back, loading another container for Liberia this week!

Come out tomorrow and Wednesday, the 25th and 26th, to help us pack up this shipment. We will be loading from 9 to 3 and would love to see you here. Lunch will be provided!

Using Butterfly ultrasound scanners provided by GHM, Dr. Bruce De Jong has been able to deliver training and support to clinics in Madagascar. These scanners have been used in over 20 hospitals and clinics throughout the country.

So far in 2026, 50 nurses and doctors have been trained and have completed over 500 scans together. We love getting to see the impact of the items we send to work in the community!

Yesterday, a group of women from multiple WELCA groups in Iowa visited our warehouse for a tour and helped us with picking boxes for our next shipment!

Thanks for coming in; it was great to meet you and receive your amazing donation of bandages. We appreciate all of your investment in GHM!
