Evangelische Andacht offers a weekly German devotion, heard Saturdays at 4:30 on WJYI 1340 AM.

It was a great weekend again at Germanfest. Our theme was the commemoration of the 350th anniversary of Paul Gerhardt's death. The cultural tents theme was forestry, which also fit. Gerhardt's last parish was in the Spreewald.

Come at see us at German Fest - A Milwaukee Tradition this weekend (July 24-26, 2026). We are in the cultural tent on the south end of the grounds. The theme for the cultural tent is forestry. Our theme is the hymnwriter Paul Gerhardt, whose last parish was in the "Spreewald." We will also do the radio broadcast live on Saturday at 4:30, just north of the main entrance. Evangelische Andacht airs on WJOI, 1340 am or on the Tune-in radio app every Saturday at 4:30 pm.

Jesus said that the harvest was plentiful, but the workers were few at that time. That continues to be true today. Pray that the Lord will call and send men into His harvest fields as we prepare pastors for our Lord’s church. They are as needed now as ever. Our text is Matthew 9:35-10:20

Join us for worship on Sunday June 6 at 9:00 am at Benediction Lutheran Church as we celebrate the hymns of Paul Gerhardt on the 350th anniversary of his burial in Lübben. He is the most beloved of the many Lutheran hymnwriters. Their hymns speak to our hearts and point us to God’s great love in Jesus Christ, our Lord. Our text is from Colossians 3:15-16
