10 years gives us a lot to look back on, and through every passing year, one thing has remained true: God has been faithful. He has provided, opened doors, changed lives, brought people together, and carried City of Light further than we could have imagined.🙏🏼🙏🏾🙏🏻

As we celebrate everything God has done, we’re also looking ahead with expectation. The same God who has been faithful through these first ten years is already at work in the story that comes next, and we cannot wait to see where He leads us!

David understood the importance of transformative prayer when he prayed, “Search me, O God, and know my heart” in Psalm 139. That is a courageous prayer because it gives God access to the motives, patterns, wounds, and habits that are easy to overlook.

Prayer creates space for that kind of honesty. Over time, you begin recognizing where pride still reigns, where fear still shapes decisions, and where old patterns are still influencing your new life. God is kind to bring those places into view; His work in you is personal, intentional, and aimed at making you more like Jesus.

So bring God more than your requests this week. Ask Him, “What are You trying to show me about me?” Then give Him room to answer.🙏🏼🙏🏻🙏🏾

Some of us are exhausted from responsibilities we volunteered ourselves for. We said yes because we were capable, because someone needed help, or because letting go felt irresponsible. Eventually, everything started feeling equally urgent and equally ours to fix.

There is freedom in asking God, “What have You actually given me to carry?” That question can bring clarity to our calendars, relationships, work, and even the expectations we place on ourselves. It also creates enough space to hear God’s direction instead of constantly reacting to whatever demands our attention.

Take inventory this week... Ask God what deserves your yes, what needs your no, and what you can finally place back in His hands. 🙏🏼🙏🏾🙏🏻
