The GMS El Salvador Committee is active locally, nationally and internationally in building relationships and understanding across cultures. The committee and its members advocate broadly on issues which are important to the Salvadoran community in the US and in El Salvador. The GMS is committed to the work of the Salvadoran Lutheran Church as it ministers to and with the poorest of the poor, holding up the value of mutuality: “there is no one so rich that they cannot receive, nor so poor that they cannot share.”
