Did you know that regular, recurring giving is one of the best ways to support an organization?

Over the next week, we will be sharing 25 Reasons to Give $25 a Month to A City for God. For now, here is a preview of the list.

Please take some time this weekend to pray for our ministry. Pray that God would continue to bless our efforts. Pray that God would continue to move others to support our ministry with their financial gifts. Ask God to show you whether you could become one of those regular, recurring givers. Praise God for his goodness in allowing us to be his ambassadors to grow his kingdom.

Summer School Training is officially underway! Please join us in praying for the 350 teachers, 50+ leaders, and 10 chaplain interns who will have the opportunity to reach over 1500 scholars and their families through this program.

Father God, we ask your blessing over the CfUT Summer School program. May it be a blessing to the young professionals coming into Milwaukee to experience urban teaching. May the leaders grow in their mentoring skills. May the scholars and their families grow in their love and trust in you through this experience. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Chaplain Paul Wegner had the opportunity to celebrate with scholars who met their testing goals for the end of the school year. Sometimes being a chaplain means helping with their cotton candy! ☺️

We continue to see the goodness of God through more baptisms!

This past Sunday, Pastor Keri Jackson (see our previous post) had the blessing of not only baptizing two of his Kingdom Men at Fairview Lutheran Milwaukee but also of promising to continue supporting them in their faith journey as their sponsor.

We praise God that his kingdom continues to grow through our ministry efforts!

There have been so many things this spring that we have been able to rejoice over! Most recently, our very own Jackson graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary with his Bachelor of Divinity degree. This means that we can now officially call him Pastor Keri Jackson! Keri was assigned to St. Philip Lutheran Church in Milwaukee.

We praise God for the culmination of the many years of dedicated study that Keri completed, and ask God to bless him in this new ministry. We look forward to exploring ways we can partner with him in the future!
