Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Last Saturday, we had our in-person gathering picnic at Brown Deer UMC. We want to thank all who attended for the fellowship of our group. Also, we want to thank Brown Deer UMC for setting up to serve the food and beverages. And yet, this is the second Wisconsin BMCR event of the year.

Plus, if many missed it, yes, you missed a treat. But always stay informed of what is going on with our caucus. Speaking of that, our next BMCR meeting will be in September on Zoom. More details will be given later.

Attention Wisconsin BMCR Members: Our next meeting date will be the third Saturday in September to resume our objectives going forward. The date will be announced by email.

But: on August 15th, we are having an In person Picnic Gathering at Brown Deer UMC from 11am - 2pm at 5736 W. Brown Deer Road. All the details and contacts are on the flyer. Check your emails for the information.

Please make a note of this in your Church Announcements this coming Sunday.

Speaking of Juneteenth: Bethany-Calvary UMC in Wauwatosa will host a Juneteenth Hymn Festival on Friday, June 19th, between 7pm and 8:30pm. All the details are in the link below, courtesy of the Wisconsin Conference UMC. Pass along to your congregation members and/or community connections.

FYI: Milwaukee's Juneteenth is coming on June 19th. Always on the 19th. And yet, for the second year, there will be a partnership with Summerfest.

Just to be clear, Milwaukee's Juneteenth will still be on MLK Drive like it has been for 55 years. And Summerfest will host a Juneteenth Celebration in the evening.

But feel free to stop by.

Summerfest and the Northcott Neighborhood House are once again team...
