MONDAY | PENTATEUCH
📖 Genesis 4–9 — The Story of Noah

We studied the story of Noah, looking at humanity’s increasing wickedness, God’s judgment through the flood, Noah’s obedience, and the covenant God established with him. Even in the midst of judgment, we see God’s faithfulness and His redemptive plan.

TUESDAY | HEBREWS
📖 Hebrews 1:7–14 — The Supremacy of the Son

We continued through Hebrews 1 and focused on the greatness and authority of Jesus. The angels are servants, but the Son is King. His throne is forever, and He is seated at the right hand of God.

TWO NIGHTS. TWO CLASSES. ONE STORY.

From Noah and God’s covenant to Jesus, the eternal Son and King, we are reminded that every part of Scripture reveals more of who God is and points us toward His redemptive plan.

📚 HEBREWS CLASS — AUDIT STUDENTS

Just a reminder for everyone auditing the Hebrews class: you do not have to stay for the entire class or attend every week!

We want you to be able to learn whenever you’re available, so come when you can and leave when you need to. You’re welcome to come in late, step out early, or attend only the classes that fit your schedule. 🙌

We simply ask that audit students sit toward the back of the chapel so that if you need to leave during class, you can do so without disturbing the other students.

We’re excited to have you join us whenever you can! ❤️

Come when you can. Stay as long as you can. Keep learning!

From the beginning to the better covenant. 📖🔥

Last week in our Bethesda classroom, we journeyed in Genesis and Hebrews, tracing God’s plan as it unfolded throughout Scripture.

On Monday, in our Pentateuch class, we looked at the beginning of creation and the entrance of sin through Adam. God created everything good, but through one man’s disobedience, sin and death entered the world.

Then on Tuesday, in our Hebrews class, we looked at Jesus—the One who came to accomplish what humanity could not.

Hebrews 1:3 says:

“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature…”

The same God who created in the beginning revealed Himself perfectly through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Adam’s disobedience brought sin into the world, but Jesus came as the perfect Son—fully representing the Father and accomplishing the work of redemption.

In Genesis and Hebrews, we see the story pointing us to Jesus: the Creator, the Son, the perfect representation of God, and the One who brings salvation.

What an incredible two days of learning God’s Word! 🙌🏽📖
