At Sycamore View we promise to never assume that you have it all together, if you won’t make that same assumption about us. We are a body of imperfect people called by a perfect God to be His hands and feet to the city of Memphis and surrounding areas. We gather on Sundays, meet in homes for Life Groups, and continue to pursue God and the mission he has given us — helping people see Jesus.

Six times a year, about 20 Sycamore View families volunteer on Friday afternoon, Friday night, and Saturday morning to give 120 bags of groceries to our neighbors and friends at our Grocery Giveaway. We aren't trying to solve world hunger , but much like Jesus, we just want to love our neighbors well.

In 2028, Sycamore View Church will turn 50 years old, and we want to do this right. We want to use the next few years as a season of reflection and preparation: reflection concerning all God has done through this church and preparation for God’s future here. We want to be great story-tellers. So we’re launching what we’re calling “50 for 50.” Telling fifty stories. Over fifty months. Celebrating fifty years. At the beginning of every month until the spring of 2028, we will release a new story celebrating events, ministries, people, and risks, all in attempt to honor ways God has shaped and formed this church.Sycamore View is a community church based in Memphis, Tennessee. Forty-eight years ago, we needed one volunteer to make sure one microphone worked each Sunday. But, the more technology has advanced, the more volunteers are needed to run sound, media, cameras, and livestream. Today, that ministry is called "The Crow's Nest."
