Everyone had a great time at InGathering yesterday! The kids enjoyed a 25-ft. water slide and having their faces painted, and everyone enjoyed hot dogs, chips, popcorn, popsicles, and delicious desserts. It was a great way to kick off the new church program year! Thanks to the Family Ministry Team for making it happen!

After the service, we'll celebrate the start of a new church programming year with hot dogs, popsicles and other treats (including vegan and gluten-free)...and a giant waterslide on the patio, games, facepainting and more for the kids. Labor Day is an occasion to honor the work of our lives -- not the goals achieved or the ranks attained or the revenue earned, but the work itself. Virtually all that we do, whether in vocation or avocation or recreation, involves our hands in some way. Today we offer blessing for the embodied tools of our being.
