Morgan Alyse McGhee was born on November 7, 2007. She is kind, respectful, a faithful member of Martin Temple, and an excellent student.

Morgan began attending Martin Temple at the age of 3 and quickly became involved in serving the church every Sunday. As a young helper, she assisted with taking up the offering. At the age of 5, she boldly declared that she was not afraid of fire and eagerly asked to become an acolyte. Her determination was convincing, and she served faithfully in that role with excellence.

On July 19, 2015, Morgan made the decision to give her life to Christ and was baptized that same day. Since then, she has actively participated in the many ministries and programs offered by Martin Temple and now faithfully serves as an usher.

In 2026, Morgan graduated from Crosstown High School. She has a heart for serving others and is prayerfully considering the path God has for her future. While she has explored careers in nursing and forensic science, her current passion is barbering. She dreams of using her skills to provide free haircuts for people experiencing homelessness, believing that even a simple haircut can restore dignity and hope.

Morgan will begin barber school on September 3, 2026. With her compassionate heart, strong faith, and dedication to serving others, she has a bright future ahead. There is no doubt that she will make a meaningful impact wherever her career journey leads.

The Voices of Martin are reviving their spirits once more for their highly anticipated annual Choir Day festivities on Sunday, June 28; Part 1 at 10:00am, Part 2 at 2:00pm.

Can you guess the sacred venue? Indeed, it will be held in the spacious main sanctuary of the historic Martin Memorial Temple CME Church, 65 South Parkway West, Memphis, Tennessee, where hearts will be uplifted and souls will soar.
