Our ancestors can help us through this. When I am rather deep in my unhappy thoughts about America, I remind myself that my ancestors survived similar hardships. When you are struggling, reach out to your ancestors who had similar experiences. Ask them to give you encouragement and advice.

🌈 Happy Pride Month from The Fellowship of Yggdrasil 🌈

Under the branches of the World Tree, all are connected — every heart, every spirit, every path.

In our kindred, we honor the divine spark that dwells in every person, regardless of who they love, how they present, or how they identify. The gods teach us that strength and beauty take many forms, and that truth and courage are sacred acts of magic.

May this Pride Month remind us that the Nine Worlds hold space for all — warriors, dreamers, healers, and lovers alike.

Raise your horns, light your candles, and celebrate the radiant diversity of our community. 🌿✨

On May 22nd, the cosmos delivered one of the most electrifying alignments of the decade: Uranus Cazimi in Gemini. “Cazimi” is an ancient term meaning “in the heart of the sun,” describing the brief moment when a planet sits within 17 arc-minutes of the solar center, so close its energy fuses with the sun’s. When Uranus, the planet of revolution, innovation, and awakening, enters this sacred heart space, the result is a jolt of cosmic voltage.

What are your thoughts on Ragnarök?

This is an interesting post about the words and language that is often used by Norse Pagan groups. Do you use any of these words in your practice?

Tyr — The Handless Judge

Norse Deity Spotlight: Tyr — The God of Oaths, Courage, and Cosmic Order

Tyr stands as one of the oldest gods in the Norse pantheon, a figure of law, justice, and moral courage. His story is not just about the loss of a hand but about the strength to uphold truth even when it demands sacrifice.

⚔️ The God of Oaths

Tyr governs the sacred bonds that hold society together — promises, contracts, and oaths. He embodies integrity and the courage to act rightly, even when it costs dearly. His name is invoked when honor must outweigh convenience.

🐺 The Fenrir Myth

When the gods sought to bind Fenrir, Tyr alone dared to place his hand in the wolf’s mouth as a pledge of good faith. He knew the risk, yet he did not flinch. When Fenrir bit down, Tyr accepted the consequence — a living symbol of truth kept through pain.

⚖️ The Ancient Sky-Father

Before Odin’s rise, Tyr may have been the original sky god — a divine judge who upheld cosmic order. His name, linked to the Proto-Indo-European Dyeus, means simply “god.” Tuesday (Týr’s day) still bears his legacy.

🔥 The Hard Choice

Tyr represents the courage to choose duty over comfort. He is the god of ethical warriors, just leaders, and truth-speakers — those who stand firm when others falter.

🛡️ The Warriors of Tyr

His followers were not berserkers but disciplined defenders of justice. They fought not for glory but for honor, protecting the sacred balance of law and morality.

🌌 Tyr at Ragnarök

At the world’s end, Tyr faces Garmr, the hound of Hel — law against chaos, order against entropy. Both fall, completing the cosmic balance. His death is not defeat but fulfillment.
