Heartland Community Church

Heartland Community Church We are a church investing in people to lead and spiritually thrive. Service Times:
Sundays at 9 AM & 10:30 AM And plan to have a lot of fun along the way!

In September 1996, a group of individuals began meeting together with the purpose of starting a new kind of church in the fast growing area of Medina County. It was designed to be a “church for the unchurched,” for individuals who “had given up on church but not on God.” This new church would be a safe place for those who were “seeking” God. It would be a church where they could feel free to sit b

ack and consider the claims of Christianity without feeling any pressure in any way. Much work went into structuring this church, and after a year of prayerful planning, Heartland Community Church began public services on September 14, 1997. Heartland is a young church, ready to meet the demands of a new century. Our desire is to be culturally relevant as we work to meet the needs of our community. We invite you to join us as we travel along on this great adventure. WHAT MOTIVATES US? Our Purpose:

Engaging People in the Process of FINDING and FOLLOWING Jesus while SHARING His Love with Our Community and The World.

Some moments are too important to forget.

That’s why God instructed His people to build memorial stones. Not because He needed the reminder, but because they did.

Life has a way of moving quickly. We face new challenges, new worries, and new uncertainties. In the process, it becomes easy to overlook how faithfully God has carried us in the past.

The memorial stones stood as a reminder: God was here. God was faithful. God made a way.

We need those reminders too.

Moments where we pause and remember prayers that were answered, doors God opened, strength He provided, and situations that once seemed impossible.

Those memories build faith for whatever comes next.

Nothing you are facing today is beyond the reach of God.

What is one moment in your life that reminds you of God's faithfulness?

Somewhere between the laughter and the prayers, strangers became family 🤍

That’s one of the beautiful things about church community. Connections grow slowly through shared moments, honest conversations, and choosing to do life together.

You never know how one Sunday could lead to finding your people.

None of us arrived here on our own.

Our lives have been shaped by people who prayed for us, encouraged us, challenged us, believed in us, and pointed us toward Jesus when we needed it most.

Memorial Day weekend gives us an opportunity to pause and remember.

To remember God's faithfulness.
To remember the people who helped shape our journey.
To remember the moments that changed the direction of our lives.

Sometimes looking back helps us move forward with greater gratitude and purpose.

This week, take a few moments to reflect. Who are the people and experiences that helped make you who you are today?

Tag someone you're thankful for and let them know the difference they've made.

This Sunday, we’ll be celebrating our graduating seniors and the exciting next chapter ahead of them 🎓

We’ll also be sharing a message about something every person is searching for: belonging.

In a world where many people feel disconnected, unseen, or unsure where they fit, we believe God created us for relationship with Him and with one another.

Join us this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:30 AM as we worship together, honor our graduates, and explore what it means to truly belong.

Who are you bringing with you?

Fruitfulness begins long before the harvest.

In a vineyard, the energy that produces fruit starts deep in the roots through seasons of dormancy, pruning, and quiet growth. Over time, what was happening beneath the surface becomes visible.

The same is true in our spiritual lives.

When we stop striving through our own strength and begin depending on the Holy Spirit, something changes in us. We start living out of a deeper place of trust, peace, wisdom, and purpose.

Lasting fruit is not produced by pressure alone. It grows from a life deeply rooted in God.

What kind of roots are shaping the way you live right now?

Spiritual exhaustion does not always come from doing bad things. Sometimes it comes from carrying pressure God never asked us to carry.

The pressure to constantly produce, keep up, perform, and hold everything together can slowly drain the soul.

If you’ve been feeling tired spiritually, overwhelmed emotionally, or disconnected from God, you are not alone. There is space here to breathe, heal, and grow together 🌿

Come be part of the Heartland family this Sunday.

Maybe the season you are in is not punishment. Maybe God is creating space for healthier growth, deeper roots, and greater fruitfulness ahead.

Pruning invites us into trust, into asking what God may be forming within us through the process.

What if the hard season you are resisting is preparing you for something deeper?

There’s something special about gathering with people who encourage you, pray with you, and remind you that you are not walking through life alone.

We’d love to save you a seat this Sunday 🤍

Fruitfulness is formed slowly through abiding, tending, and staying connected to Him over time. Healthy growth is relational. It cannot be rushed or forced.

This message reminds us that flourishing is not built through endless striving. It develops through a life consistently rooted in God’s presence. The deepest growth often happens quietly, long before anyone else can see the fruit.

Where in your life do you feel God inviting you to slow down and abide with Him more deeply?

Today we pause to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service and sacrifice.

Memorial Day reminds us that freedom carries a cost, and behind every sacrifice is a story, a family, and a legacy worth remembering.

As a church, we are grateful for the courage, service, and selflessness of those who gave so much for others.

Praying comfort and peace over every family remembering a loved one today 🤍
