This weekend’s Daddy/Daughter Dance was filled with sweet memories and so many smiles. We loved watching dads and their girls celebrate the gift of being together.

A new school year brings new routines, new experiences, and new opportunities for growth. As we begin this season, we want to encourage families to keep Jesus at the center.

This Sunday, August 9th, HCC KIDS families with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade will receive a Back-to-School Family Discipleship Kit at dismissal after both the 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM services!

These kits are designed to help families create intentional moments together through Scripture, conversation, and prayer as you begin a new school year.

We can’t wait to partner with your family as you begin this new school year and create moments to help your kids know God’s love and grow closer to Jesus.

Agape love is more than a feeling. It is a choice to give of ourselves for the good of another. It is patient, sacrificial, and steadfast. It is the kind of love our Heavenly Father has shown us through Jesus.

As parents, we have the incredible privilege of reflecting that same love to our children. In the everyday moments of listening, forgiving, serving, encouraging, and simply being present, we give our children a glimpse of the Father's heart.

The greatest example of love our children will ever see is the love God has shown us. As we receive His love, we are transformed by it. Then we have the joy of passing that love on to our children and to those around us.

At HCC KIDS, our prayer is that every family would grow together in the greatest commandment: Love God and love other people.
