🎁 Generosity in Action!

We are so proud to share that the United Church of Marco Island and Bargain Basket Missions Committee’s own Pat Kaufman, alongside Pastor Ed Brandt, had the honor of presenting a $20,000 check to Allyson Richard’s and Nicki Davis representing the Joy of Giving!

Founded right here on Marco Island, the Joy of Giving has been bringing Christmas joy to underprivileged children in Collier County since 1988 — providing each nominated child with funds to shop for gifts, clothing, and essentials at the holiday season when it matters most. What began with one family has grown into a program that serves over a thousand children each year, nominated by school counselors across Marco Island, North Naples, Golden Gate, and East Naples.

This gift is a reflection of YOU — our incredible volunteers, faithful church members, and generous community supporters whose contributions to the Bargain Basket and our Missions Fund make moments like this possible. Every item donated, every shift volunteered, every dollar given adds up to real, lasting impact in the lives of families right here in our community.

At 8:30 a.m., experience a more intimate Communion service in Riedel Chapel, located in Disseler Hall. This quiet, reflective setting offers a peaceful way to begin your morning in prayer and connection.

Then at 10:00 a.m., gather with our larger church family for worship in the Sanctuary. Come as you are and be part of a vibrant and uplifting service. Live streaming here on Facebook and YouTube.

⛵💙Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, were honored to present a donation of $1,523.02 to the Marco Island Sailing Club!

This gift will help provide children with opportunities they may not otherwise have to experience the joy of sailing. Through these valuable programs, young people gain confidence, develop teamwork and leadership skills, learn responsibility, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who shopped, donated, volunteered, and supported this mission. Your kindness is helping local youth discover new horizons both on and off the water.💙⛵

The mission of the United Church of Marco Island and the Bargain Basket continues to make a meaningful impact right here in our community. We are grateful to share that Pastor Ed Brandt and Bill Johenning recently presented a $5,500 grant to the Tommie Barfield Elementary School music department—supporting the arts and investing in the next generation.

Thank you to everyone who shops, donates, and supports the Bargain Basket. Your generosity helps make moments like this possible and strengthens our Marco Island community in lasting ways.
