We had a beautiful morning at Marco Church yesterday.

We welcomed new members into the community, who had completed our Discover Marco class. Want to become a member? Join us for our next Discover Marco this Sunday after church in the Fellowship Hall.

We also prayed for the Geneste family and their lovely baby girl. We love this family and are looking forward to helping them to continue to grow in their faith and supporting them in raising their daughter in faith and to the glory of God.

Join us this coming Sunday for another wonderful time of worship together at 9 or 10:30am!

Our Sunday Featured Song is a beautiful hymn by our Artist in Residence Matt Papa. This song invites us to stop and remember the beauty of our King. To stop and remember the suffering of our King on our behalf. He is worthy of our praise. Listen and allow God to tune your heart for worship.

We are continuing our series in the I AM statements of Jesus from the Book of John. This Sunday we will look at John 8:12-20, where Jesus states, "I am the light of the world." Read the passage in the next few days and get ready for Sunday!

"Do the works of God. Our way doesn’t work. What ultimately is the way that we should go? Jesus is calling us to the focus of our faith. It’s not about what we do, but about the One upon whom we place our focus, our trust. The living faith that Jesus is calling us to is to see Him as the end and the animating power. Both the means and the end." - Thomas Gibbs, Covenant Theological Seminary

"There is a deeper hunger that Jesus wants to expose in us. All those material comforts. All of those worldly pursuits. Are ultimately spiritual dead ends. They don’t lead to life. They lead to death. That’s the bread that won’t slake our hunger. That won’t slake our thrist. That won’t satisfy." - Thomas Gibbs, President of Covenant Theological Seminary

"There is an essential tension in this passage that leads to Jesus declaring He is the Bread of Life. Our way vs. Jesus’ way. What we want out of life and what Jesus wants to give us in this life. What we want out of life doesn’t always satisfy. Jesus loves us too much to let us continue in our misunderstanding." - Thomas Gibbs, President of Covenant Theological Seminary

Did you miss the message yesterday? Rev. Dr. Thomas Gibbs, President of Covenant Theological Seminary, continued our series in John 6. Jesus declares in verse 35 "I am the bread of life." What does that mean? And what do we do with that statement today? We pray that you will see Jesus more clearly as you hear the Word.

In this series, we will take a look at the "I Am" statements of Jesus. Who does Jesus say that He is? Thomas Gibbs, President of Covenant Theological Seminar...

An encounter with the truth of God's Word should make us ask questions that lead to deep and life-altering transformation. If you believe in Jesus, can you answer these questions with a yes?

Our Sunday Featured Song is a beautiful hymn by Getty Music writer Jordan Kauflin. Romans tells us that we have all fallen short of the glory of God, but hallelujah! God did not leave us there. He sent His Son to live and die for us. He rose again to defeat death so that we can sing all I have is Christ. Listen to this song and allow God to tune your heart for worship.

Does the word confrontation bring anxiety? Allow God to change your view of this word. God is a confrontational God. He wants to confront each and every one of us. He wants us to grow. To change. To be transformed.
