Yesterday, Pastor Heidi shared about Worship Through Generations. We, as adults, set examples for our children. (Deuteronomy 6:5-9) But we can also learn SO much from them!

In Matthew 18:3-4, Jesus tells us that unless we become like little children, we will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Starting on June 12th, a new L!FE Group will be meeting for 16 weeks to discuss mental health. These meetings will be held at the church on Fridays from 7-8:30pm. You do not need to make every meeting! Simply come for the weeks that you can. :)

Let's make a difference in our community! We're teaming up with the Lost Lamb on Saturday, June 6th, to clean up our streets, parks, and neighborhoods. This is a great opportunity to make an impact by connecting with our neighbors and local organizations!

This event will go from 10:00am to 1:00pm. We'll meet at 566 Union Street in Manchester. This is great for ages 12 and up!

The annual Taco Tour is tomorrow, and our young adults (18-early 30s) are going together to enjoy some $3 tacos on Elm Street! The event starts at 4:00pm, but we'll meet at 5:00pm at the church and walk over together. Please try to carpool! We'll place cones in the L!FE Church parking spaces earlier that day to reserve those spots.

Please sign up on our website (click on the "Connect" tab and then "Events") so we know you're coming, and bring your young adult friends, cash, and good walking shoes.

During our Sunday Gathering, Pastor Abi emphasized the importance of worshipping God together. Psalm 22:25 speaks of this communal aspect of worship and how beautiful and powerful it is.

In Exodus 15, we see God's people worshipping together and praising Him as a response to being saved from the Egyptians. God parted the Red Sea so that His people could walk through on dry land to freedom.

It's shared experiences like these that bond us together. Shared worship brings us closer together. We all share a story of salvation! We are free from the bo***ge of sin and death! And we can now be forgiven and move from lost to found to whole in Jesus Christ.

Our Family Gathering is coming up this Sunday! If you'd like to dedicate your child during our 9:00am or 10:45am Gatherings, it's not too late to sign up. Simply go to our church website, click on the "Connect" tab, and then click on "Events." You'll be able to register there. If you can't find it, let us know so we can help. :)

After our second Gathering (which wraps up at 12:00pm), we'll all head over to Stark Park for a picnic to enjoy each other's company! Bring a bagged lunch and a picnic blanket or lawn chair, and we'll provide the drinks and games. Please pray for good weather!!

We're not the kind of church that has to have it all together. We're not the kind of church where we put on a happy face and shove all our burdens, struggles, and messes under the rug on Sunday mornings.

Instead, we're a church for life. ALL of it. Not just the good, but the bad, too. The ugly, the painful, and the broken parts of our lives that just aren't pretty. Because those are the parts where can find healing and encouragement. Those are the parts where Jesus reaches out and meets us where we are. Those are the parts that bring freedom when we're open and honest about what we're going through.

We would love to see you tomorrow at 9:00am or 10:45am. We'll be here to go through life with you. All of it.
