We are honored to have the Kentucky WMU highlight the work we do through our Family Mission Trip! We believe that missions is for everyone, and this trip is a great opportunity to teach kids and parents to serve together. This year's trip has moved dates, but be in prayer for the planning and work that will be done in the coming months!
🌟 Spotlight Saturday 🌟
Today, we're highlighting Parkland Baptist Church and its growing commitment to family missions.
Led by Student Minister Beth Turpin, Parkland is equipping the next generation through multi-generational mission trips to Eastern Kentucky. Families serve together alongside ministries like the Freeda Harris Baptist Center in Pike County, helping with home repairs, clothes closets, block parties, church projects, and more, all while sharing the hope of the gospel.
These trips do more than meet practical needs. They prepare children to become lifelong followers of Christ who see missions as a way of life. By serving alongside their parents, young people experience firsthand what it means to live on mission, helping bridge the gap between learning about missions and actively participating in them.
Thanks to the Eliza Broadus Offering, more families are able to answer God's call to serve together.
