Happy Friday from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church!

There are times in life when we think we know exactly how things should go. We pray for one answer, expect one outcome, or hold tightly to one plan. But then life unfolds differently, and we're left wondering why.

One of the hardest parts of faith is realizing that God does not think the way we think. He sees beyond our hurt, beyond our timing, beyond the small parts of the story we can see right now.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord."
Isaiah 55:8

A child may not understand why a parent says no to something that could harm them later. In the same way, we may not always understand why God closes a door, changes our direction, or asks us to wait. Yet many times, when we look back, we can see his hands guiding us through moments we once questioned.

This verse is an invitation to trust God even when life does not make sense. Not because we understand everything, but because God understands what we cannot.

Whether you are just beginning your faith journey or have known God for many years, Isaiah 55:8 reminds us that we never outgrow the need to trust Him more deeply.

May God give you peace for the questions you carry, courage for the road ahead, and Faith to trust that His plans are greater than anything you could imagine.

Blessings from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church.

Good Thursday morning from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church!

It's easy to feel overlooked in a world that pays attention to image, success, and appearances. So much of Life tells us we have to look a certain way, act a certain way, or have everything together before we're truly accepted. But God has never worked that way.

Throughout scripture, we see God choosing ordinary people, meeting them in broken places, and using lives that others may have dismissed. He sees beyond what is visible on the outside and looks directly at the heart.

"People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

What a comforting reminder that God sees the parts of us nobody else can fully understand. He sees the quiet faith that keeps going even when life feels heavy. He sees the kindness you show others, the prayers whispered in silence, the tears nobody noticed, and the strength it took just to keep moving forward.

Even on the days when you feel unseen, uncertain, or not good enough, God has never lost sight of you. Your worth is not measured by your past, your appearance, your mistakes, or the opinions around you. Your value comes from the one who created you and calls you his own.

Today, may you walk with confidence knowing that God sees your heart and loves you completely. And may we, as a church family, continue to reflect the love of Christ by showing Grace, compassion, encouragement, and kindness to everyone we meet.

Praying your day is filled with peace, strength, and reminders of God's unfailing love.

Good Wednesday Morning from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church!

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

When God spoke these words to Joshua, Joshua was standing in front of a future that probably felt overwhelming. Moses was gone. Everything was changing. People were looking to him for leadership, strength, and direction. God knew Joshua would face fear, doubt, pressure, and uncertainty so before Joshua ever took the next step, God reminded him of one powerful truth:

"You are not going alone."

That same promise still speaks to us today.

We all carry things people cannot see. Worries about family. Stress from work. Questions about the future. Battles in our minds. Moments where we wonder if we are strong enough for what is in front of us.

Joshua 1:9 reminds us that courage does not come from having all the answers. It comes from knowing God is with us through every step, every challenge, and every new beginning.

So today, walk forward with confidence.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Keep showing kindness.
Keep believing that God is already working in places you cannot yet see.

No matter where you are in your faith journey, God's presence goes with you today. And sometimes that alone is enough to change everything.

Have a blessed Wednesday, friends. Keep your eyes on God and your heart open to his grace.

Good morning and happy Tuesday from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church!

"There but for the grace of God go I."

Those words are not meant to bring guilt or sadness they remind us just how powerful God's grace truly is. Everyone of us has had moments where we needed strength, forgiveness, hope, or a fresh start. And through it all, God's Grace has carried us further than we could have gone on our own.

As we are reminded in 1 Corinthians 15:10

"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace towards me was not in vain."

What a beautiful reminder that God is still working in each of our lives every single day. We are growing, learning, healing, and becoming who he created us to be.

Today, maybe lead with kindness, encourage one another, and remember that a little Grace can change someone's entire day. Sometimes the smallest act of compassion can shine the brightest light.

No matter what this Tuesday brings, may you walk confidently knowing:
You are loved.
You are seen.
You are never walking alone.

May God fill your day with peace in your heart, strength for your journey, and joy in life's moments along the way.

From all of us at warrens Corners United Methodist Church, we pray you have a joyful, peaceful, and blessed Tuesday.

Good morning and Happy Memorial Day from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church!

Today is a day of remembrance. A day to slow down from the busyness of life and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy each and every day.

Memorial Day is more than flags flying, families gathering, and the beginning of Summer. Behind this day are stories of courage, sacrifice, and love. Men and women who answered a call greater than themselves. Families who carry the weight of goodbye. Lives forever changed because someone chose to serve others before themselves.

As Christians, we are reminded of the power of sacrificial love.

"There is no greater love than to lie down one's life for one's friend." John 15:13

Today we honor those who lay down their lives so others could live in freedom. We honor their memory with grateful hearts and lift up their families in prayer.

No matter where you are today, we pray you find a moment of peace and reflection. Maybe it's during a quiet sunrise, around the dinner table with loved ones, at a cemetery placing flowers, or simply sitting still in remembering someone special.

May we never take for granted the freedoms we have or the sacrifices made to protect them.

From all of us at Warren's Corners United Methodist Church, we pray God's peace, comfort, and blessings over our community, our military families, and all those carrying memories of loved ones today.

May your Memorial Day be filled with gratitude, love, remembrance, and the comforting presence of God.

God bless you all.

Today at Warren’s Corners United Methodist Church, we gathered together on this Pentecost Sunday to worship, reflect, and celebrate the moving of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Our scripture reading, Acts 2:1-21, was beautifully read by Julie Der Sarkissian, reminding us of the powerful moment when the Holy Spirit came like a rushing wind and filled the hearts of the believers, changing lives forever. Just as the Spirit moved in Acts, we pray that God continues to guide us, strengthen us, and lead us wherever the wind changes direction in our own lives.

Thank you to Pastor Troy for today’s meaningful message, “When the Wind Changes Directions,” encouraging us to trust God even when life shifts unexpectedly. Thank you as well to Nancy Reinhardt for sharing her gift of music and piano during worship today.

As we gather this Memorial Day weekend, we also pause with grateful hearts to honor and thank all of our military members, veterans, and the families who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. Your service and dedication are deeply appreciated and remembered.

Following worship, we enjoyed wonderful fellowship during our church potluck. Thank you to everyone who prepared and shared such delicious dishes and desserts. It is always a blessing to gather around the table together as a church family.

"Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord."
Ephesians 5:19

Good morning and happy Saturday from warrens Corners United Methodist Church!

Even though the forecast is calling for rain throughout the day, there's still so much joy to be found in today's blessings. Sometimes rainy days remind us to slow down, gather together, and appreciate the warmth of community, friendship, and God's presence all around us.

Today's verse from Ephesians reminds us that worship is not only something we do inside the church walls on Sunday morning it's something we carry within our hearts every single day. Whether the skies are sunny or gray, God still gives us reasons to sing with gratitude, and joy.

Sometimes the music in our hearts comes through a favorite hymn. Sometimes it comes through sharing laughter with neighbors, helping someone in need, enjoying a cup of coffee with a friend, or simply hearing the peaceful sound of the rain outside our windows. God has a beautiful way of fulfilling ordinary moments with comfort and Grace when we pause long enough to notice Him.

And rain or shine today is our annual 25 cent clothing sale! Whether you stop by for the sale, a friendly conversation, or simply just say hello, we would love to see you today.

May God bless you on this rainy Saturday with peace in your heart, warmth in your home, and joy that shines brighter than the clouds above. May His love surround you, His grace strengthen you, and His song continue to play gently within your heart throughout the weekend ahead. Stay safe, stay dry, and may many blessings be with you and your family today and always.

May the music of Faith carry you through the day
