Happy Friday from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church!
There are times in life when we think we know exactly how things should go. We pray for one answer, expect one outcome, or hold tightly to one plan. But then life unfolds differently, and we're left wondering why.
One of the hardest parts of faith is realizing that God does not think the way we think. He sees beyond our hurt, beyond our timing, beyond the small parts of the story we can see right now.
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the Lord."
Isaiah 55:8
A child may not understand why a parent says no to something that could harm them later. In the same way, we may not always understand why God closes a door, changes our direction, or asks us to wait. Yet many times, when we look back, we can see his hands guiding us through moments we once questioned.
This verse is an invitation to trust God even when life does not make sense. Not because we understand everything, but because God understands what we cannot.
Whether you are just beginning your faith journey or have known God for many years, Isaiah 55:8 reminds us that we never outgrow the need to trust Him more deeply.
May God give you peace for the questions you carry, courage for the road ahead, and Faith to trust that His plans are greater than anything you could imagine.
Blessings from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church.
