Pastor Cheryl here. I delivered the flood bucket ‘stuff’ today to Kenmore UMC. First 2 pics are what I delivered. Next 2 show the room where the packing happens.

Last 2 show the room where the completed flood buckets are stored.

It used to be filled!! That’s the room we helped fill today so our neighbors can be helped in the next flooding event. They wanted us to know that a lot of the buckets went to people in Niagara County. Well done, church!’

Good Wednesday Morning from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church!

Jesus once said that new w**e cannot be poured into old w**eskins. To the people listening, this made perfect sense. In those days, w**e skins were made from animal hide. When they were new, they were flexible and able to stretch as the w**e expanded. But over time they became stiff and brittle. The problem wasn't that the new w**e was too powerful it was that the old w**eskins could no longer adapt to what was happening inside it.

Often, we think following Jesus is simply about changing our behavior. Well that is part of the journey, Jesus is also concerned with our hearts. Sometimes the "old w**eskins" in our lives are not bad habits at all. Sometimes they are our assumptions, our expectations, or our belief that we already know exactly how God should work.

Yet God is always doing something new. He may open a door we never expected to walk through. He may place someone in our path who changed our perspective. He may answer a prayer in a way we never imagined. If our hearts become rigid, we can miss the blessing He is trying to pour into our lives.

A life of faith requires a heart that remains soft, humble, and willing to grow. It means trusting God even when we don't fully understand where He is leading. It means believing that his plans are greater than our own and being willing to let Him reshape us along the way.

No matter how long we have walked with Christ, there is always something new to learn about his grace, his love, and his purpose for our lives. Today, let us ask God for hearts that are open to His leading and ready to receive whatever he has in store.

"Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" Isaiah 43:19

May God bless you today with an open heart, a hopeful spirit, and the courage to follow wherever He leads. May He fill your day with love, joy, and little reminders of how good He is. May His love guide your steps, His wisdom lead your way, and His blessings fill your heart. Amen.

Good evening, friends.

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:8

Heavenly Father, thank you for being with us throughout this day. Thank you for the laughter shared, the moments spent with people we love, and the little things that made us smile. Tonight, we lift up our families, our friends, and our neighbors to you. Please be close to those who are sick and those who are missing someone they love. Sit with anyone who is spending this evening alone, and bring comfort to those who have worries on their hearts. Watch over the people working through the night and those who are away from home. We also thank you for the good news, answered prayers, and happy moments shared tonight. As we close our eyes, help us place the things we cannot change into your hands and trust that you will be with us through tomorrow, just as you were today. Thank you for listening whenever we come to you, and for loving us through it all. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God watch over you and your loved ones tonight, fill your home with peace, and give you a restful night’s sleep. Good night, friends.

Good Tuesday Morning from Warren's Corners United Methodist Church.

There is so much beauty in this world, and sometimes all it takes is one simple picture to remind us just how much beauty there is all around us. The bright colors of autumn, the trees standing tall, the gentle water reflecting the sky, and every little detail that makes this earth such a beautiful place. And to think, this is only a small glimpse of everything that surrounds us. Psalm 104:24 reminds us, How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.

From the smallest flower to the tallest mountain, from the birds singing in the morning to the animals wandering through the forests, God's handiwork is everywhere. Every living thing, every changing color, every sunrise that welcomes a new day is part of the wonderful creation God has placed all around us. As Psalm 19:1 reminds us, The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

But God's love reaches far beyond the beauty we see in nature. His love can be seen in the lives He has touched, the hearts He has changed, the prayers He has answered, and the hope He continues to bring into this world. It can be found in families brought closer together, friendships formed, kindness shared between strangers, and the countless ways His love finds its way from one person to another. As 1 John 4:12 tells us, If we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. Some of those moments are witnessed by the whole world, while others are known only to God and the people whose lives were changed.

There is something truly special about a love that reaches across every corner of this earth. Through laughter and tears, happy moments and struggles, beginnings and goodbyes, God's love remains. Nothing in His creation is beyond His care, and no life is too small to matter to Him. Romans 8:39 reminds us, Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

And perhaps that is one of the greatest things about looking at a picture like this. Beyond the colorful trees, the peaceful water, and the beauty of autumn is a reminder of just how much God has given this world. A world filled with life, with love, with people to cherish, with wonders still waiting to be discovered, and with countless reasons to praise the One who created it all. Everywhere we look, there is another reminder of how good God is, and how far His love reaches.

May God bless your days with moments that remind you of His goodness, fill your heart with the joy of His love, and open your eyes to the many wonders He has placed all around us. May His peace follow you wherever today takes you, and may the love you receive become the love you share with others. May we never lose our sense of wonder at all that God has created and all that He continues to do. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for being part of every day we are given. Thank You for the people we love, for the prayers we are able to share with You, and for the comfort of knowing that we can always turn to You. Tonight, we ask You to watch over our families and friends and keep them close in Your care. Be with the ones we are thinking about, the ones we have prayed for today, and the ones who may need a little extra love tonight. Fill our hearts with faith, help us remember how deeply we are loved, and keep us close to You in all that we do. Thank You for never being too far away and for always hearing us when we call on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Christmas can be especially difficult when someone you love is no longer here to share it with you. While so much of the season is filled with joy, we know that for some, there is also an empty place and someone deeply missed. If that is where you find yourself this Christmas, we want you to know you are welcome here.

Warren’s Corners United Methodist Church, 5293 Stone Rd., Lockport, NY will be holding a Blue Christmas service on December 21 at 6 PM. The service will be presented by Bill Edmister. If you are grieving a loss of any sort, you are invited to come and find comfort and hope at this special service. It is traditionally held on the longest night of the year. When things seem the darkest, search for the light that is coming back into your life.

Good Morning! Good Afternoon! Happy Monday from all of us at Warren's Corners United Methodist Church.

Have you ever noticed how often we look back and say, if I had known then what I know now, I would have done things differently? Life has a way of teaching us lessons one step at a time. We don't always understand why a door closes, why another one opens, or why certain people cross our path when they do. It's only with time that we begin to see how those moments help shape the person we are becoming.

The beautiful thing about looking back is that it changes the way we look ahead. We all want answers. We all want to know that we're making the right decision and that everything is going to be okay. But life doesn't always unfold that way. Sometimes it's only by looking back that we begin to understand what God was doing all along.

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, 'This is the way; walk in it. Isaiah 30:21

When Isaiah spoke these words, God's people were looking everywhere for guidance except to God. They were anxious about the future and uncertain about which direction to take. Yet God lovingly reminded them that He had never stopped watching over them. He was ready to guide them, not because they had everything figured out, but because He loved them and wanted to lead them.

One of the most beautiful things about walking with God is that He never stops teaching us, growing us, and reminding us that He is faithful. Sometimes we recognize his hands in the moment, and sometimes we only see it when we look back. We begin to notice that what once felt like a setback may have been His protection, what felt like waiting may have been His perfect timing, and what seems like the end of the road was often the beginning of something we never could have imagined. No matter where you are on your journey, one truth remains the same: He is faithful. He has never stopped loving you, never stops guiding you, and never stopped inviting you to trust Him one step at a time.

May you find peace in knowing that God sees what you cannot. May He give you wisdom when decisions are difficult, courage when the road feels uncertain, and confidence to trust that the one who loves you is faithfully guiding you every step.

Heavenly Father, as this evening settles around us, we come before You with thankful hearts for the many blessings You have given us today. Thank You for Your endless love, for the kindness we have received, and for the beautiful ways Your goodness continues to shine throughout our lives. Lord, as we prepare for a peaceful night's rest, we ask that You watch over our homes, bless our families, and surround those we love with Your gentle care. May Your presence bring comfort to every heart, Your wisdom guide our thoughts, and Your love remind us of the wonderful promises we have through You. Help us to close this day with hearts full of faith, knowing that Your love never fades and Your mercies will greet us again with the morning light. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Good night, friends. May the Lord watch over you and bless you with a peaceful night's rest.
