It was a privilege for the Lockport church community to come together and support Good News Global at their annual fundraiser! Right here in our own community, Chaplain Bill Whitmore faithfully serves inside the Niagara County Jail. He works with many to share hope and encouragement with inmates while also caring for corrections officers and jail staff.

Lockport Alliance Church is proud to sponsor Chaplain Bill and support the important work God is doing through his ministry. We’re grateful for his faithful presence in a place where the hope of Jesus is so deeply needed. Thank you, Chaplain Bill, for the way you serve our community!

What began as a flooded basement quickly became a powerful reminder that the Church is more than a building. Within hours, many of you showed up with mops, shopvacs, buckets, and willing hearts.

Thank you to everyone who served, brought tools and fans, and jumped in without hesitation. We also want to thank our neighbors and the many people who reached out with offers to help. Sunday night brought the flood, but this morning God’s people brought hope and light. We are blessed.

A Lockport church community came together after heavy rain Sunday sent water flooding into their building.

We suffered some pretty extensive flood damage in the basement at LAC this evening. Anyone able to help dry up water, throw out trash, and clean and sanitize on Monday (8/3) would be greatly appreciated. Bring a shopvac (if you’ve got one) and a smile.
